8 Bibles given away so far

What is fascinating in life is how visions translate into reality. This is equally true about my very, very small outreach where I've been going out, approaching complete strangers, introducing myself, and telling them what Jesus has done in my life and offering free Bibles to listeners. I really like the outreach Bibles I have been giving way. They are in my favorite version -- the New American Standard Bible (NASB). It is one of the most accurate modern translations on the market. In addition, they are complete Bibles -- not just the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. When I got this vision of this outreach, I felt very strongly about putting truth into hands of people. When I put the NASB version of the 66 books of the Bible into the hands of real people, I feel this can have a very powerful impact. Some might read what I am doing and think, "I could never do that. I love Jesus but I'm a big chicken." Or you might say, "People will think I'm a coolaid-drinking cult member. I'll be really brutally honest about myself. The first night I planned on going out, I backed out. Why? I am a spiritual chicken. I was honestly scared to death and quite honestly I felt guilty I felt like a big chicken. But the next night, I overcame my fear and just did it. How did it go? I'll tell more on my next post. Until next time....
